As a member or affiliate of War on Want, the Annual General Meeting (AGM) is your chance to help shape the future of our organisation.
The AGM is being held online only. If you wish to attend the online meeting, you must register to attend no later than 4pm Wednesday 2 September in order to receive a link to the virtual event which will be sent to the email provided. If you can't make it, you can make your voice heard by appointing a proxy and/or voting in advance at waronwant.org/AGM.
The AGM will start at 4pm on Friday 4 September and last for approximately one hour. The meeting will include a short presentation from War on Want's new Executive Director Liz McKean outlining how War on Want's new Strategic Framework sets out our planned response to the the interconnected crisis of climate breakdown, inequality and injustice, and increasing authoritarianism.
We will also have a short presentation from Tyrone Scott, our Head of Campaigns, outlining our new report entitled "Red Card: English Premier League Sportswashing of Israel's Atrocities against the Palestinians".
Official papers have been posted to members and affiliated members with a valid postal address, as per the legal requirement. Please let us know if you have not received these documents.
