Israel is subjecting Palestinians to apartheid.
Palestinians are treated differently in every aspect of daily life, subjected by Israel to a separate legal system – based on racial discrimination – and deprived of their human rights. Israel has been doing this for decades.
Palestinians endure severe restrictions on their freedom of movement, and unequal access to water and essential services. Israel demolishes Palestinian homes to make way for illegal Israeli settlements, with Palestinians living under the constant threat of arbitrary arrest, torture and killing.
Israel is deepening its system of apartheid. In March 2026, Israel passed a new law to execute those it convicts of ‘intentional killings against the state of Israel’ – a law which is effectively designed to target Palestinians, who Israel subjects to unfair trials and a separate legal system.
People stood up together to end the injustice of apartheid in South Africa and racial segregation in the USA.
