Stop Israel’s Annexation of the West Bank

Israel is accelerating its creeping annexation of the West Bank – illegally incorporating more of the Palestinian territory it occupies into the state of Israel.

Israel’s illegal settlements already cover 40% of the West Bank – de facto annexation. In October 2025, after two years of committing genocide of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip with impunity, Israel advanced a new bill calling for the formal annexation of the West Bank – illegal under international law.

Now, in February 2026, Israel has approved measures to remove “legal obstacles” towards annexation, including for large areas of the occupied West Bank to be claimed as Israel’s “state property” if Palestinians cannot prove ownership of their own land – which after decades of Israeli occupation is almost impossible – while providing immunity for Israeli settlers to buy and own Palestinian land. This is ethnic cleansing.

Palestinians live under Israel’s system of apartheid – subjected to a separate legal system, based on racial discrimination, and deprived of their rights. Israel’s latest moves will entrench apartheid and further strip Palestinians of their homelands.

The UK government has condemned Israel’s settlement expansion, and opposed “any form of annexation” – now it must act.

Tell your MP: the UK government must stand by its word and take action to end Israel’s annexation of the occupied West Bank.
