Demand fairer, better futures for all

A better world is not just possible – it is essential.

Right now, food prices are rising in the UK and around the world, and many people are struggling to put food on the table.  This is because a handful of mega corporations control how food is grown, sold and distributed – pushing small farmers off their lands, underpaying workers, and keeping prices high to make huge profits.

This isn’t only happening with food. Water companies hike up bills which many people struggle to afford, while paying their shareholders record profits. Energy corporations refuse to move away from oil and gas – fuelling the destruction of the planet, instead of funding cleaner, cheaper energy for all.

Communities, workers, and the planet are paying the price while big corporations and the super‑rich get wealthier. This can’t go on.

We must end the corporate control of our food, water, and energy – so no-one has to choose between heating their home or feeding their family. We must tax the super-rich to fund schools, hospitals and to fund the transition away from fossil fuels to renewable energy – not push the costs onto ordinary people. And as we end fossil fuel use, we must invest in safe, dignified jobs so workers aren’t left behind.

This is a just transition: a radical change of our economies and societies to put people and the planet first.

We can make this happen. Movements around the world are already rising up and demanding change – by taking action together we can build our collective power, and win justice, safety and dignity for all.

Sign the petition today – demand fairer, better futures where people and planet don’t just survive, but thrive.
