It’s time to take action to ensure Parliament and the British people have a say in UK trade deals: as Parliament returns with a trade bill at the top of its agenda, we only have a limited time to ensure that Brexit trade policy is transparent and democratic. That's why we need MPs to show they support Parliament having a say on trade deals by - as a first step - signing Early Day Motion 128 on parliamentary scrutiny of trade deals. The Prime Minister and Trade Secretary are already jetting around the world undertaking informal trade talks – but without a trade bill guaranteeing scrutiny and accountability, we won’t even know what UK trade deals contain, let alone be able to stop them. Please act now, so that we that don’t have TTIP all over again!
