Send a message of solidarity to Palestinian political prisoners
Prisoners in Gilboa prison meeting with relatives, March, 2006.
Right now, 4,900 Palestinians are being held by Israel as political prisoners, to silence opposition to its occupation and apartheid regime. All Palestinian prisoners held by Israel are political prisoners — imprisoned because of their identity, beliefs or activities in relation to Israel’s occupation.
Israel’s far-right government has recently passed new legislation designed to increase its human rights abuse of Palestinian political prisoners — including reintroducing the death penalty.
Palestinian political prisoners need our solidarity. Our Palestinian partner Addameer provides crucial legal and practical support for Palestinian political prisoners, and has asked if you will write to prisoners with a message of solidarity. It's important for prisoners, and those advocating for their rights, to know that the world has not forgotten them, and for Israel to see its crimes gaining international attention.
All you need to do is add your name, and a custom message if you want to, and we’ll take care of the rest.
