Stop Barclays Bankrolling Genocide & Apartheid
UK banking giant Barclays provides billions of pounds worth of investment and loans to arms companies selling weapons, components and military technology used by Israel’s armed forces.
Israel has used this weaponry to carry out the ruthless bombing of civilians and civilian targets throughout the Gaza Strip, including hospitals, bakeries, water pipelines and other infrastructure essential for sustaining human life. Over 33,000 Palestinians, including 13,000 children, have now been killed in Israel’s latest assault on the Gaza Strip, and tens of thousands have been injured.
Barclays shamefully profited from the crime of apartheid in South Africa, it continues to do so through its financial support for Israel’s discriminatory apartheid regime against Palestinians. Barclays is Europe’s sixth largest creditor of businesses working in Israel’s illegal settlements in the occupied West Bank — a crucial part of Israel’s ethnic cleansing and apartheid regime. Now, Barclays is facilitating, and profiting from genocide as well.
Demand an end to Barclays complicity.
